Introduction
As your celebrant, I want to ensure that your wedding ceremony is unique to you, while also make sure that all the legalities of a personalised ceremony are taken care of.
I will work with you to create and officiate a ceremony that is important to you and reflects your relationship.
I am all about providing a light-hearted, relaxed and fun approach to wedding ceremonies to help you enjoy your day.
The Process
Initial meeting
It’s important to ensure that I am the right celebrant for you. We begin with an initial conversation. This could be a phone call, a video call, or meeting in person. It is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for me to walk you through the process in more detail, including all the legal requirements.
Confirming the date
If you decide that I am the right celebrant for you, we then make it official and book in the date for your special day.
Guidance
I provide you with any guidance you need for legalities and the wedding license.
You can apply online using the link below. The licence will be issued within three working days of your submission. The application costs $150 (this cost is not included in my celebrant fee) and it is valid for three months from the date of issue

Rehearsal
If desired, we hold a rehearsal with your wedding party to ensure we all understand what we need to do and how the ceremony will flow on the day.
Your special day
I will officiate your perfect ceremony and ensure all the legalities are taken care of.
The paperwork
Following your ceremony I take care of submitting all the paperwork to Births, Deaths, and Marriages.
- Registry-Style Ceremony
- $ 250

- A basic registry-style ceremony. This is intended for small weddings, typically with fewer than 10 guests.
- This uses a set ceremony script which meets all the legal requirements.
- I will provide you with guidance on applying for your marriage license and answering any questions you may have about the process.
- On the day, I will arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony and officiate your ceremony ensuring all the legalities are taken care of.
- Following the ceremony, I take care of ensuring the paperwork is filed.
- Fully-Personalised Ceremony
- $ 500

- A personalised ceremony tailored to be unique to you both.
- This option includes more traditional components of the ceremony such as involvement from friends and family, personalised vows, etc.
- Leading up to the day, I provide you with guidance on applying for your marriage license and answering any questions you may have about the process.
- Travel to ceremony location within the immediate Christchurch area. Please note that travel costs will be an additional fee if your wedding is outside of the Christchurch area.
- Prior to the day, a wedding rehearsal to ensure we all know what we need to do.
- I'll keep your style and theme in mind while dressing for your celebration. If there is a particular style you have in mind - please let me know!
